Re: Name day of the first name Nolan
in reply to a message by Nolan
The Hiberno-English name "Nolan," from the Irish-Gaelic name "Nuallán," does not have a feast day. The name was never borne by any saint or well-known religious personage.
Also note, the root of "Nuallán" is from the word "nuall," meaning a 'shout' or a 'cry,' not 'champion' or 'chariot fighter' as given on this website and many others.
