A female hurricane? The hurricane wasn't female. It was just given a female name.
For the meaning, click here: Katrina. Katrina is ultimately a variation of Catherine / Katherine and has the same meaning as them.
You obviously didn't read the posting instructions very carefully, because it says to SEARCH before you POST to make sure that the information you're looking for is not already in the database, and this information *is* in the database. Next time, please search first!
