I have not been able to find any use of Siddalee before its use for the character in the books written by Rebecca Wells, which are the basis for the movie you are referring to. I believe that Ms. Wells created the name herself to fit in with stereotypes about invented names in Louisiana, where the books are set. I have seen a least two examples of real babies named Siddalee after the character in Wells' books.
