I named my daughter Shaadiya on the knowledge that it meant singer, as both myself and her father are singers. 2 Years later at a doctors clinic, the arabian doctor noticed her name and went on to explain that in his country there once lived a woman by the name of Shaadiya, who was known to be the woman with the most beautiful voice in the world, everytime she sang, people would crowd around just to hear her voice. Her legend lives on in their country as people often say when you are singing that you are "Shaadiya-ing" (in their language of course) meaning you are singing as beautiful as 'Shaadiya'.
