Actually Mc-Hendry rearranged as Mc-Kendree
MacHendry - Hendry is a medieval spelling of Henry/Henri (thus the English surnames Hendry, Henderson etc.; MacHendry/MacKendry/MacKendree means 'son of Henry'.For the k compare McKellar 'Son of Ealair' (not Kellar), and MacKay 'Son of Aodh' (not Kay) :)
