Sumerans(not sure about the spelling in English) were a nation about the time of Babilon and maybe the name4 comes from there.

I agree with that. I had some HIstory Of Arts lessons, and we met this word. Actually, in greek the world is Sumerios (singular).

Sumehra is my daughter's name.
Meher means Moon,It's a persian word.
"Su-mehera" means moon like beautiful face. Its not exactly arabic. But persean and arabic are very close.
