Meaning of "Sarasa"
in reply to a message by Agata
"Sarasa" is a name derived from the Japanese word for "chintz" -- a printed cotton material used for formal tea-ceremonies in Japan. "Sarasa" is also the name given to a summer-blooming flower in Japan, because the flower's petals resemble cotton printed with red and white stripes.
