I liked Michael after my best friend, and the Hawaiian name Kai meaning Sea. Then I saw the actor Mekhi and fell in love with the name. I have also searched to no avail. The best I have found is the is seems to be a variant-like most names- of Malachi. Find that meaning, and use that! :)
