Nothing wrong with them at all; they aren't my taste, but so what? People are simplifying, though - I know a woman called Freda Thea; her mother was Dorothea Frederika, and her daughter is Thea!
The kind of names that do bother me are the combinations of both parents - another friend, Jeanine, married a Rudolf and they had a little Runine. Poor girl.
