Hello, the name "Wahnee" has different meanings from many different Native American tribes indeed. My family name is Wahnee and it goes back more than 200 years that I know of. I belong to the Comanche tribe of Oklahoma and the meaning for "Wahnee" for us is "A Grove of Cedars".
