I think it depends on the accent. I've heard it pron. ah-mah-lyah (my way), ah-mah-lee-ah, ah-mah-lyuh...
I love that name :)

Edited to add: I've even heard ah-mah-lyeh.

Our Amalia is pronounced as Ah-MAH-lee-ah, accent on Mah
