to answer your qeustion:you were right about it being hispanic. Mt concliusion on that is where my mom and dad are from the french had settled there earlier so that might account for the endings. IF you have notice my name is yamilette and that is how I spell it. The my mom has always pronouced it is Ja-me-lette.
