Yanira is not a biblical name, but it has a meaning that goes well with biblical names. YANIR means: "He (G-d) enlightens" (although the normal word for this would not be "nur" (Nun-Waw-Resh) > manir, but "or" (Aleph-Waw-Resh)> meir (a famous Jewish surname).
