The only male Hungarian name I've found that's close is Dezso (Latin Desiderius), that might have been Americanized into Dash since there's no common-name English equivalent. We'll hafta get someone with Hungarian language chops to comment on whether the "Dez-" part is pronounced remotely like "Dash".
