Johanna is prn you-HAH-nah, sort of. Very popular for girls born during the late 70's, the 80's and early 90's, but it's not quite as popular today. It was ranked #2 in 1992, and last year it was ranked #40.
In total, according to www.scb.se (Statistics Sweden), there are 67 937 females named Johanna in Sweden, middle names included.Signe is quite common among older women, like ~75 or older, and it's getting more and more popular for little girls too. 1990 it was ranked #191, and last year it was ranked #95.
In total, there are 18 087 females named Signe in Sweden.I've never seen the spelling Johann being used here, but Johan is definitely a classic, very popular for all ages, but maybe most popular for those born during the 60's and 70's? It was ranked #1 or #2 for a looong time, but in 1994 it dropped to 8th place and last year Johan was ranked #40.
In total, 171 949 Johan (and 1017 with the spelling Johann).Karl is also somewhat of a classic, popular for pretty much all ages I think. Ranked #11 in 2003. I think it's also one of the most popular names for hyphenated names, Karl-Johan, Karl-Erik, Karl-something.
In total, 226 018 Karl, and 113 566 Carl.Ingrid was ranked #109 last year, and I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it's ever been super duper popular, or unpopular, no real peaks.
In total, 128 664 Ingrid.Sigrid, I think, is sort of like Signe, quite popular for older women, and getting more and more popular for little girls. It was ranked #127 last year.
In total, 14 329 Sigrid.Siri is one of my favourite names, I know it's originally a nickname for Sigrid but today I think it's more often used as a "real" name. It was ranked #88 last year.
In total, 6908 Siri.
