Re: Chartreuse and other color names

I like the color chartreuse but not for a name. I also just now discovered that it's very tricky to type, I botched it up twice before I had it spelled correctly. lol
Teal might work. When I was a lot younger I kind of thought Silver was a cool name, but not so much anymore, unless you're talking about a horse. lol
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!

I girl I knew growing up had a horse named Silver. He was speckled and liked to nibble on people.
I once read about ... I believe it was the first auto accident fatality in Hawaii of the 21st century. The man who died was named Hye Ho Silva.
I suspect the name Silver for horses got to be especially popular due to the Lone Ranger's horse being named it.
A horse that likes to nibble at people does not make me feel warm and fuzzy toward horses. I like horses in theory but I have never really trusted anything that big and with such big teeth and which always seems to make "playful" nipping/nibbling motions in the general area of my jugular vein.
