Re: Name meaning.

I think the answers would be more interesting if people do not look up the name meanings!
People don't expect that name meanings always describe something about the bearer, though. Usually in the polls people are expecting you're asking for an aesthetic, subjective impression, based off how a name sounds to them .. for a person in real life.
I personally feel like Ham does sound "warm" and Tushar does sound "cold," but I sort of cheated since I did look them up.
I feel like an Amanda might hate vegetables, but I can't even picture Odysseus on a real person, it's sort of cartoonish.

Sorry I didn't realize that I upset a couple of people.
Well Odysseus does mean hate.

Sure, but that could just as easily apply to "hates to eat anything but vegetables".
Yeah, in a dictionary way it does...
I'm not upset ... but in my opinion, it's interesting to see whether people "get it right" with their intuitive feeling about a name, and would be less interesting if they looked it up first, and then "got it right."

Alright, thank you for the suggestion.
I think your right. I think I should put names people actually use.
