HelpWould Tharlia be a good name for a book character?
Tharlia Pronounced (Tarr-lee-uh) is a variation on the Name Tharliex with the book being called The Lyziaras (pronounced Lie-Zee-Are-ruh) given the nature that he and his family had to be exiled to planet Earth and have to assimilate to American culture.

Same deal as with Tharliex. Drop the h and simplify the pronunciation. The names are totally made-up so you can't really apply what seems to be a vaguely French pronunciation to it, because it's not actually related to French and the reader knows it.
It’s fine but be prepared for a lot of mispronunciation as there is a girls name Thalia which is pronounced with a Th not T. I would remove the H if you want the correct pronunciation.

The original English pronunciation of Thalia was NOT with the "t" sound. However, that's the way it's said in Spanish, and the name has been especially popular with Hispanics recently, so one is more likely to hear the "T" pronunciation today.

I’m in Scotland and it could just be here but I’ve never heard it pronounced another way.
If it suits you, then it's fine. If you have doubts, try something else. It's your book.
For an extraterrestrial character, sure. However, I'd remote the 'h' from both of those names and the s from the title.
But the title “Lyziaras” means that there more than one Lyziara you wouldn't say “The Simpson” would you
