Wilder sounds like it's describing Patrick. I don't like the names together either.

Because Wilder is an adjective, it should have been the middle name. That is my only issue with it. Patrick Wilder (surname) sounds good. If I used it as a first name, there would be no middle name.

I like Patrick, but not Wilder. My first Patrick was too tame, so I got a wilder one.

I have great distaste for the name Wilder, unfortunately. However, Patrick is an awesome name, and I also like names Anthony and Anne.

I'm sorry, but I laughed. Wilder Patrick as opposed to Wild Patrick and Wildest Patrick. Congrats to them, but the name is not my style.
