I don't think its expired. I won't say it is until it completely disappears from the US Top 1000. Being up there among the most popular names in decently populated country is a wild feat. Even names I don't care for: Ashley, Rebecca, Richard, Robert... they're boring but not expired. I do actually like Scott, though. I wouldn't mind meeting one because I never have. That might be why it sound less tired than the others. I can only think of two fictional characters at the top of my head, and they don't ruin it for me.
