Emilie would result in a lifetime of spelling and explaining. I love Emily and would happily use it. However, I was nearly Sarah Anne myself, because that was my paternal grandmother's name; luckily, my mother found a better name and my dad gave in! I dislike Sarah; Emily Sarah looks and even sounds good to me, but Emilie doesn't appeal to me at all.
