For a girl, I think it's about as namey as Marigold, Amara, Iris, Amethyst, plus I associate them a bit with Christmas, so it could seem festive like Holly can.
But I was thinking of it as masculine/unisex recently because of another post, and now I kind of love it that way (mostly as a MN). The vibes's like Amari, Amariah, Hollis, Cymbeline, Artemis, Adonis, Amias, Hyacinth, Aloysius, Willis to me as masculine.
