Noa is a big No.
Nicola is very nice; the best fem form of Nicholas by far.
Selene - two syllables or three? I prefer Selena.
Bellamy is cute! I really like it, which is odd because I dislike Bella, Belle and Amy as well as lnfns. Go figure.
Bellamy - I've only ever encountered it as (f); as (m), I find Bell- on a male disconcerting.
Xander - a refreshing change from all the Alex, Alexis etc etc people, but I don't take it very seriously as a name for an adult.

Noa" Gorgeous. I don't care what anyone says: its feminine.
Nicola: Nicole. Nicolette and even Collete are better.
Selene: Selena is prettier.
Bellamy for girls: Unpleasant sound. Bellamy for guys: too neutral enough and still unpleasant. "Belly me." Ellery, Emery, Mallory and Dallory are better for either gender IMHO.
Xander: Awesome and fresher than stuffy Alexander or too-casual Alex.

Bellamy #1- Sounds bloated. probably because it reminds me of 'belly'
Bellamy #2- Weird, gross sound. 'bella' makes it sound feminine, but combined with the 'uh-MEE' ending it sounds icky
Xander- looks unfinished

Nicola - sounds awkward and reminds me of Coca Cola. I prefer Nicole.
Selene - it's alright. I'd prefer the spelling Celine.
Bellamy - not my favorite Bella name. I definitely can't take it seriously on a boy when it sounds like another variation of Bella.

Noa: Never actually liked any 'Noa' variations. To me, it just sounds nasal, and I don't like that.

Bellamy: To me, this has ALWAYS been a feminine name. 'Bella' is a feminine name to me, and 'My' is a feminine Swedish diminutive of Maria. Two feminine names equals a wholly feminine name, so, girl's name to me. Personally, I cannot understand how this is a male name to some people, but that's just me... *shrugs*

Xander: It's OK, but not my preferred nn for Alexander, even though I adore names with an 'x' in them somewhere, but there's something that irks me about this one that I can't put my finger on. I'll go with Alex here. On the flip side, I'll prefer Sander to Xander any day, though, it doesn't irk me in any ways.

Two feminine names equals a wholly feminine name, so, girl's name to me. Personally, I cannot understand how this is a male name to some people, but that's just me... *shrugs*

I'll go with Alex here. On the flip side, I'll prefer Sander to Xander any day, though, it doesn't irk me in any ways.
Noa: No, uh ... I know I really don't like it. I know a Noah and it's a guy. Actually it's like six of them. Noa dmittance to your name list.
Nicola: I like this. I say it like NIK-uh-la, not like the lozenges which are nik-O-la. Nicky to friends, maybe. It's excellent. As excellent as Nicholas. Might be dated in UK, but not here. Btw I dislike Nikola for boys who'll speak English as their first language
Selene: it's a nifty name, but reminds me of salami, and selenium, and I feel like the 3 syllable prn is too cute (the eeny sound), and also it's sort of bombastic like, HEY - Goddesss Ov The MOOON. I would like Celina or Selena more.
Bellamy: it seems like potentially the sexfree Brittany of the 2020s or 30s. I think I can manage to not hate it even though nms and I suspect that's where it might go. It's alright. Keep. I don't have a gender preference.
Xander: Alexander was kind of overdone and this nick is feeling y2K to me. I like it fine, though, and it seems a bit trendy so maybe keep. I personally prefer it spelled with a Z. Maybe even Zandr because, like, the name Xander is quirky - one already tries-hard to nickname him something that's more special and oddball than Alex. So, live a little.

Noa seems odd. I prefer Noah (for a guy/girl).

I play around with nic- names to honor my mom (not that I'm expecting / trying to conceive). Her name is Nicole. :) I like Nicole as is and I also like Nicolette. Nicola was one I came across recently that's been on my mind! Nikola I associate as more masculine for some reason (though I know they both have masc and fem usages).
My most lives-in-Kentucky-loves-cows name on my list would probably be Claribel, lol
