It could grow on me, but my first reaction is that it sounds like a girl. Just the flower imagery feels 'feminine' even though it doesn't need to.
I know someone who named their baby Violet and deliberately kept from gendering the baby, so I think it was meant to be a gender neutral name, but I kept thinking of the baby as a girl because of the name Violet.
