I don't really like it as masculine, although I like Perry and Caradoc as masculine.
It's okay as feminine. It's been used at least 3 times in my family (once spelled Cary, I think as part of a double name).
I've been liking it more lately than I used to partially because I have a coworker called "kehr-uh" which I like saying.

I really don't like name for either gender.
I prefer the spelling Carey (as an androgynous name). It sounds very warm and friendly.
Carrie for a girl's is ok
