I knew sisters who had a brother named Harley. It was 'because' it had been their mother's birth ln; however, she married a Mr Lee! And I always marvelled at the thought of choosing to have a son called Harley Lee.
Of all the names that have been mentioned in this thread, I only really like Harriet, which in my dialect at least doesn't have the actual Har- sound you get in Harley and Harper and the rest.
