Random Beach BAs
Yesterday my fiance and I (safely) took a day trip to a local beach. I heard some very interesting names, while there. These are a few that I remember (all ages & spellings are approximate guesses):
Heather (14-16) & Andrew (10-13)
George (16-18), Louie (14-16), Kristy (10-14), & Josie (10-12)
Jackson (18-24), Jermaine (13-15) & Anne (13-15), & Delmar (8-12)

"Be with me." - Rey Skywalker, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
"Look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now." - Eliza Schuyler Hamilton, Hamilton

That last subset is super strange.
BA means birth announcement.

My gosh I am so dumb. Thanks for reminding me! It's too late to change the title, but I really appreciate it!
That's young for a Heather but I sometimes like that name if the combo makes it earthy and not 80's.
Andrew is very average.
Are you in the US? If so, George on a teenager is a little unusual to see, but the name itself is still boring.
Louie (Louis?) also seems unusual for a teenager.
Kristy looks dated, I would have assumed it was Christy.
Josie is nms but sort of cute/country.
Jackson is boring but not bad (although why not just go by Jack if your name is Jackson?)
I've never actually seen Jermaine, it really just makes me think "germane"
Anne is nice
Delmar is kind of cool, although the database says it rhymes with Elmer and that's a little too nasally/nerdy for me. I'd like it if it was DEL-mahr or del-MAHR.

I am in the US, and you are right, George is uncommon for a teenager. I spelled Louie that way because it was being said LOO-ee, not LOO-is, though I know Louis can be pronounced that way. The same goes for Kristy, as I only heard the names, I never read them, so I'm not sure about the spellings. Delmar was said (in this instance) like adding a "d" before Elmer, though I could see it being pronounced the other way as well.
