Unpopular opinion: I find Helena horribly dated and just a boring Latinization of the already dated Helen. Elena, Elina, Hera, and Hestia are much fresher and more interesting.
It’s dated not necessarily by its usage but by its similarity to Helen. We can agree that Helen is very dated, right? So, since Helena is just Helen with an A, I consider it to be dated as well.
