My grandma goes my Jeanne (her mn), but prn the American way, of course. Having heard it prn the American way my whole life, the French prn sounds too close to the American John for my tastes; however, I do like the French prn in French speaking countries. It just wouldn't sound right where I live. :o) And fast becoming my favorite girl's name is Jeanna, a very close cousin of your Jeanne.
