Both are excellent but my choice would have have to go to Anna as that was my maternal grandmother's name.
It's not really about which spelling I prefer but which name. Anna and Ana are typically pronounced differently and are vowed as separate names where I come from.
Anna with being said Ann-uh and Ana as on-uh.
I prefer the look and sound of Anna more

Interesting that you pronounce them differently. Where I live they’re said exactly the same.

Yeah, I suppose it is. Anna and Ana have just always been vowed as two, entirely different names. I mean at least for the most part. I'm sure there are some folk out there who do say them the same way. Though that percentage of people is sure to be exceedingly low.
