The seem a bit close to me but then I'm not a fan of twins having the same initials

Both are nice names, but the styles don’t go together. “Louise and Lillian” or “Elise and Lila” both sound better.

They don't feel like they fit together very well to me

Louise is kind of cute. Lila, pronounced Ly-la, is very nice. However, pronouncing Lila as Leela doesn't sound nice, and it's confusing in the US.

Other than that counter-intuitive pronunciation of Lila, I think it is a lovely twin pairing.

I prefer Louise and Lily or Lilian or Leyla.

Hi !!!I think that they are too similar.

I love Louise and am happy to see it on a baby. Lila pronounced like that sounds very redneck, heavy smoker to me, even though I know its origins are quite different than this.

They feel like completely different styles to me. Louise is old-fashioned but also funky and fun and unexpected. Lila is modern and insubstantial.I do really love Louise.

They work fine together, though I personally prefer the pronunciation lie-lah for Lila. The way you have it pronounced I'd prefer Lela.
