Definitely! But a celebrity is less likely to completely destroy a name for me than an a-hole who I meet in person, especially if I have been betrayed by the person.
The only person who has truly utterly destroyed a name for me was a woman named
Sarah who used to be a neighbor I was close with a few years ago. I won't get into the specifics because it is long but she is probably the worst person that I have ever personally met. She is a charismatic user who pretends to be a giver. She cares for little but herself and is completely willing to harm others if the outcome is in her self interest even if they have done nothing to her or were even her friend.
She has ruined the name
Sarah for me but also any names close to
Sarah like
Sera and
Serafina. Which is especially sad since
Serafina was my favorite girl's name for 10 years before her cruelty ruined it.
