I've liked
Elise for many years unfortunately it is unusable because my mother-in-law's abusive grandmother was named
Elise and it was a family name for many old money rich a-hole women on that side of my husband's family.
It's a minor thing but
Elise sounds a bit like saying "A lease" but it's a minor issue. Truly other than the bad blood in my husband's family with the name I find it to be a less common gem that is similar to
Alice.
I imagine women named
Elise to have blue eyes and light to medium brown or blonde straight or wavy hair and fair skin.
