Jericho
What do you think of Jericho? What would you expect a Jericho to be like? What name would you pair with it?

The first time I saw it used as a name, it was because I was reading poetry (Jericho Brown).
I like the sound of it...but I like a lot of names that include -ric and/or that end in 'o'.
It doesn't seem ultra-religious to me, the way some biblical place names (like Canaan) do.
I think it has a warm quality and might expect a Jericho to be outgoing or friendly.
From the names on my pnl, I might pair it with Damien, Daniel, or Isidore. Or other biblical names ... Nathaniel, Isaiah, Benjamin, Emmanuel, Samson.

I like Jericho a lot but I don't like Jerry. It ticks a lot of boxes for me- Biblical, place name, legit word, very cool. But if you don't like those boxes to be ticked, then you won't like the name. The only Jericho I know is a 40-something year old Filipino man and it suits him a lot. I find it difficult to picture a child pulling off "Jericho" though. I think it would need a normal MN like William or Samuel =)
