Rory is the most obvious nickname. I hate it which is why I'm unlikely to use Aurora, even though I love Aurora in full. I'd use Aura most likely.

What's wrong with just Rory? I love Aurora "Rory". There's also Ari, Ra-ra, Aura, Rora, Aury and Rore.

When I had a dog named Aurora I would call her "Wowa" a lot (like a little kid trying to pronounce "Rora") but I think that only makes sense for a dog! :P
