Carenza / Kerensa
What's your impression of it? How would you use it in a combo?

I love this name so much...I'd use the spelling Kerensa, because it looks a little more whole and doesn't remind me of credenza or concertina. However, I discovered and loved the name via idolising Time Team's Carenza Lewis, so spelling it that way would have personal meaning. Ellie and I have discussed it as a potential - must come back to it again. Freya Kerensa? Freya Carenza? Possibly a little too Star Wars?

I love Kerensa. It's one of my favorite names of all time and I'd happily use it, unfortunately my husband has nixed it.When I do combos I use names I like, so it would be something simple like Kerensa Joy, Kerensa Hope or Kerensa Adele.

I quite like it; prefer Kerensa, though. I've always loved that name. And okay, so since it means lack of...How about Carenza Dolores? I've always worried about Dolores, it's so pretty and I love the thought of being able to use the nickname Lola (although I guess you couldn't really in the MN spot) but they sort of cancel each other out, don't they? 'Lack of sorrows.' Or you could think about how it means 'love' as well as 'lack of'. I don't know.

I like how Kerensa Dolores sounds, but then if you go with the Cornish meaning, it's "love of sorrows". :/If you want some other suggestions for combos that cancel out the 'of sorrows' meaning, my favorites are...Althea Dolores / Dolores Althea
Consuelo Dolores / Dolores Consuelo

Good point :/Oh, and I love Althea Dolores, that's so pretty! Althea is another of my favourite names.

Really beautiful. I really like it and would love to see that IRL.Maybe Rose Carenza? Carenza Violet? Something flowery.

Means "lack of" in Italian. I can't get past that.

Oh that's unfortunate.

Funny. I've always loved Kerensa, but when I saw this post I didn't even associate Carenza with Kerensa and was thinking I wasn't too crazy about it. That doesn't make much sense, though, since they sound identical.Needless to say, I also prefer the Kerensa spelling.

I had to look it up myself, as I thought it seemed familiar but not.
