Re: Timothy vs Julian?
Gosh, it is tricky! I find that Julian Elijah has the better flow, but I'm not sure at all how important that is. I like both names, but they are long enough to attract nns, and I prefer Tim to Jules. So I think I'd forget about the mn flow and go for Timothy. When I was a schoolgirl, our neighbour couldn't decide between Richard and Timothy for her son, and the lady doing birth registrations preferred Richard, so Richard it was. And until her dying day, his mother regretted not using Timothy. So the moral of the story, if there is one, is to go for what you really, secretly prefer, regardless of all other issues, including adivce.
