Althea is very pretty :)

Althea Joy gets my vote. It's so sweet, and I like the way the strong J sound in Joy balances out the soft sounds in Althea. Love this combo.

Althea Kate is nice, if boring, but it's honouring so it gets a pass. Kate is more filler to me than Joy. It flows well.

Althea Lily is my least favoruite, too many soft sounds for me, but it sounds fine too.

So really, any of them work, but Althea Joy is definitely my favourite!

I feel the same way about Kate, that it's a bit boring. You're right about Althea Lily being too soft as well.

How about Althea Carys? Similar to Kate but more unusual, and with a lovely meaning as a bonus.

Althea Carys is nice and I love the meaning together ("healing love"). I'm just not a huge fan of the name's sound.
