I had a lovely post all written out and then it disappeared! arg.
I really like Edwin. In fact I'd say it's my favourite Ed-name. I agree with your view of it as "organic" - it has a very twiggy, green feel to me, but in a refined, intellectual manner. Like a Victorian botanical study.
I know an Edwin Bartholomew, and I really like that! :)
Of your combos, I enjoy Edwin Elijah the most. The alliteration gives it an extra endearing quirk.
