I've know Heater's - but they didn't use a nickname. I don't think it's a name that calls for one. Some names have a certain quality to it, enough presence to stand on it's own, be called what it is with out alterations.

If you love the name enough to name a child it, why the need to have a nickname? You love it use it as it is.
