Re:GIRLS
Janaya: juh-NIGH-uh – (Juh-nay-uh) *don’t know if that is the same as what you said or not..
Jayiana: jay-ee-AH-na – suppose to be pron. as below… I don’t really like it that much anymore since no one pron.’s it that way
Jayonna: jay-AWN-ah
Kyrie: KIGH-ree – (Ky-ree)
Mireya: mee-RAY-uh – (Muh-rey-uh) like Mireia – how do you pron. this?
Rosalye: like Rosalia – (Ros-a-lie) as in lie down
Teanna: Tina or tee-AHN-ah (I'd hope for Tina since in my family little ones refer to peeing as "teeing" making the later sound like one is urinating in something!- (Tea-ann-a)
Sera: like Sarah - SAIR-ah – (Seer-uh)
Yazmene: like Yasmine – (Yaz-meen)
Yazmeen: ditto – same as aboveBOYS
Jerren: ditto – (Jer-ren)Thanks for the input!

I asked how Mireia was pronounced a while ago.I was told it was mee-RAY-uh with the rolled R. Out of my American mouth it usually comes out mih-RAY-uh, with no rolled R.I love the sound of Mireia. It's actually on my own list of favorites.Melissa

Re:I like it spelled Mireya. It's like Mariah to me but with a "rey" sound in it. That is why I pron. is Muh-rey-uh

Just to add, Forrest Gump...(m)...pronounced Jenny as Janae several times to my ears. I think of him with that one.
