I would probably go with Lulu! It's pretty cutesy, so you might love it or hate it! I love it and I would us Lulu for pretty much every girl's name with an 'L' in it. I think it actually sounds quite spunky. I can imagine it on a fashion designer... Ray's not bad as some others have suggested as well.
Huh
Lulu is often used by anyone whose name starts with L, it's a bit of a stretch to use it for any name containing an L in it, but you could do it. Of course I've always personally felt it was a stretch to use it for any name that begins with L. Personally I'd only use it for a name that has the loo sound in it, or maybe a name that starts with L and has the oo sound anywhere in it.
My mother-in-law Leslie uses Lulu as a nn for herself but I've always found that to be weird. It would be less weird if she went my L or Elle or Les or Lee. Even though Lulu is supposed to work for any name starting with L it just seems weird to me.

I like Rae. Auri / Aurie would also work.
Elia or Ellie / Eli or Rellie / Reli or El / Elle or Aurie or Li / Lee.
You could also choose a mn that starts with J and call her AJ.
I love Elia but it isn't much shorter than Aurelia. I love Eli / Ellie, and it isn't a stretch imo but Ellie is also fairly popular at the moment and many names yield the Ellie nn. In spite of those negatives my favorite nn options are still Elia and Eli / Ellie for Aurelia.

Ray! Although it makes more sense for Aurélia...
