Sage is one of the few names I think of as totally unisex. I'd consider it for either gender. I really like the connections it has to nature and to actual sages, as in wise people.I've only ever met one Saige, a girl.

I've met at least 3 Sage's before but I feel like I've met more than that. The three I can remember for certain, two were boys and one was a girl. If I've met more I feel they were still around half boys and half girls with maybe slightly more of them being male. I grew up in a big city with a lot of people who love nature and then I went to college in a small city that had a lot of neo-hippies and now I'm living just outside that big city in the country. Sage is one of those names that is not out of place where I live.

I've actually never met a Sage myself. The only "Sage" I met turned out to be named Sayge...
