Nora (Igor & Valentina)As you can see Nika is hugely popular here (it's been in top 10 for at least a decade). Nadja, Naomi, Nea, Nela, Nia and Nora are the ones I'd consider more unusual and out of them Naomi and Nora are the only ones I haven't seen personally.

Nothing like seeing at least a dozen babies named the same name to make me ponder why is Nika so popular in Croatia?

As far as I know it's because Nikola is a prominent Catholic saint so feminisations of his name are always popular. Nikolina was huge in my generation and Nika (also Niko for boys) is seen as a fresher version I guess.
