It was never over-popular here, but it's always been over-sweet (appropriate in view of the meaning, I suppose). I think it needs a good squeeze of lemon juice. And I'm haunted by the dread that someone, somewhere, took innocent twin girls and named them Melissa and Deborah - the contrast is like running out of a sauna into the snow.

Giggle! Long ago, on a naming board far away, a family were expecting twin girls and they were all set to name one of them either Grace Anne or Anne Grace, and the other one something that I don't remember. I think, and hope, that I managed to explain the huge desirability of having Someone Grace and Someonelse Anne instead! Melissa Grace and Deborah Anne, perhaps? Such a unifying concept.
