I like Ismet too and I'm also interested in Ardonis.:)
Most amused to find that Am(m)ar means 'pious, virtuous'!- I used to teach a little one and he was a total terror.

Ismet and Ardonis
Ismet is a Turkish and Bosnian variant of Ismat.
Ardonis I think is just a variation of Adonis (-is names, like Aramis, Enis, Daris, Faris, etc., are popular among Muslims here and in Bosnia, and his father is a Muslim).
Wiki says that Ardonis is a genus of moth, but I don't think that has anything to do with this baby's name.

Oh I really like Ismet!
Ardonis is also neat - any ideas on its origin?
