Jenny / Jennifer
My dad likes Jenny as a nickname, but unless you use Jennifer, you can't use it. Any ideas?

It's also a nn for Genevieve. And, back in the day, most Jenny people were actually Jane - my grandmother's friend was always known as Jenny but always signed herself Jane.I used to know a Jenny Esther. Nice name. And she's just Jenny!

I adore Jenny! I like it as a nickname for Jane a lot. My sister is Genevieve "Genny."

I know a Genevieve with the nickname Genny (pronounced like Jenny).Or Jenna could work.

Sure you can. My grandma goes by Jenny but her full first name is Genevieve. You could also use Geneva, Jennica, Jenna, Jenessa, and Jennette. Or you could just use Jenny by itself.

My great grandmother was Jeanne, called Jenny. Also I think Jenny could work for Imogen and Iphigenia. Even though the spelling is a little off.

That's not at all true. I think Jenny works as a nickname for Jane, Jeannette, Jeannine, Jeanne, Geneva, Genevieve, etc.

Jenny was originally a pet form of Jane. You could use Jane, or some other Jane-type name, like Janet, Jeannette, Jeannine or Janelle.Or, Ginevra, Geneva or maybe even Jessamine.

The only one I can think of that hasn't been suggested already is Jeanette or Jeannette
I don't think Virginia has been mentioned, btw
