Just figured I'd throw my impression in. I thought it sounded grandpa-ish at first but then I though about it and it does sound like a decent name. I think there are better ed- names, like Edwin and Edmund, but Edgar isn't at all bad. And I always think of the guy from that cartoon movie Aristocats, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH6BiN2PS5c
