My great-grandfather's sister was Edith Theolina. :) I have also seen her name written Teolinda or Teodolinda, which is related to Dietlinde, but I don't know if Theolina is actually the same name as those, or if the writer just got it wrong.

Ooh thank you, that's a good lead, and I think it's perfectly conceivable that Teolinda/Teodolinda could have evolved into Theolina.I am continuing to investigate and this gives me a fresh starting point.Edith Theolina is a great name.
