I was working on old records at work and there was a woman named Mittie from 1859. I'm guessing it's a nickname, but does anyone have any idea what it might be a nn for? The only two names I could think of that might fit are Clementine and Matilda but those seem like a bit of a stretch to me? Thoughts?
